دعویٰ تو کیا حسن جہاں سوز کا سب نے

دنیا کا مگر روپ بڑھایا تری چھب نے

تو نیند میں بھی میری طرف دیکھ رہا تھا

سونے نہ دیا مجھ کو سیہ چشمئ شب نے

ہر زخم پہ دیکھی ہیں ترے پیار کی مہریں

یہ گل بھی کھلائے ہیں تیری سرخی لب نے

خوشبوئے بدن آئی ہے پھر موج صبا سے

پھر کس کو پکارا ہے ترے شہر طرب نے

درکار ہے مجھ کو تو فقط اذن تبسم

پتھر سے اگر پھول اگائے مرے رب نے

وہ حسن ہے انسان کی معراج تصور

جس حسن کو پوجا ہے مرے شعر و ادب نے
