مری تم سے شناسائی بہت ہے
مگر احساس تنہائی بہت ہے
بکھر جاؤں تو خود ہی ہے سمٹنا
کہ یہ دنیا تماشائی بہت ہے
مجھے غرقاب ہو جانے کا ہے ڈر
سراب دشت دریائی بہت ہے
چلو اب سچ بھی کہہ کر دیکھتے ہیں
یہاں شور پذیرائی بہت ہے
نہیں وسعت ترے دریائے دل میں
مگر آنکھوں میں گہرائی بہت ہے
یہاں سے کوچ کرنا ہی پڑے گا
ترے کوچے میں رسوائی بہت ہے
اسدؔ مشکل سے گھبراتا نہیں ہوں
دماغ و دل میں یکتائی بہت ہے
