گیان کی چتا

اختر بستوی

احساس کے ساحل پہ بہت دیر سے گم صم

میں گیان کی ارتھی کو لیے بیٹھا ہوں یارو

طے کر کے یہ آیا تھا کہ پھونکوں گا اسے آج

اور اب بھی یہی عزم کئے بیٹھا ہوں یارو

لیکن کوئی تدبیر سمجھ ہی نہیں آتی

کس چیز پہ رکھ کر میں بھلا اس کو جلاؤں

کہتی ہیں تمنائیں کہ چھوڑیں گی نہ دل کو

پھر اس کے لیے دل کی چتا کیسے بناؤں

ehsas ke sahil pe bahut der se gum-sum
main gyan ki arthi ko liye baiTha hun yaro
tai kar ke ye aaya tha ki phunkunga use aaj
aur ab bhi yahi azm kiye baiTha hun yaro
lekin koi tadbir samajh hi nahin aati
kis chiz pe rakh kar main bhala us ko jalaun
kahti hain tamannaen ki chhoDengi na dil ko
phir us ke liye dil ki chita kaise banaun
