پھولوں سے کھیلتا ہوا دیوانہ آ گیا

بادل کے اٹھتے ہی مے و پیمانہ آ گیا

بجلی کے ساتھ ساتھ پری خانہ آ گیا

مستوں نے اس ادا سے کیا رقص نو بہار

پیمانہ کیا کہ وجد میں مے خانہ آ گیا

اس چشم مئےفروش کی تاثیر کیا کہوں

ہونٹوں تک آج آپ ہی پیمانہ آ گیا

معلوم کس کو قیس کی دیوانگی کی شان

ہنگامہ سا بپا ہے کہ دیوانہ آ گیا

اخترؔ غضب تھی عہد جوانی کی داستاں

آنکھوں کے آگے ایک پری خانہ آ گیا
