نہ وہ خزاں رہی باقی نہ وہ بہار رہی

رہی تو میری کہانی ہی یادگار رہی

وہی نظر ہے نظر جو بایں ہمہ پستی

ستارہ گیر رہی کہکشاں شکار رہی

شب بہار میں تاروں سے کھیلنے والے

کسی کی آنکھ بھی شب بھر ستارہ بار رہی

تمام عمر رہا گرچہ میں تہی پہلو

بسی ہوئی مرے پہلو میں بوئے یار رہی

کوئی عزیز نہ ٹھہرا ہمارے دفن کے بعد

رہی جو پاس تو شمع سر مزار رہی

وہ پھول ہوں جو کھلا ہو خزاں کے موسم میں

تمام عمر مجھے حسرت بہار رہی

کبھی نہ بھولیں گی اس شب کی لذتیں اخترؔ

کہ میرے سینے پہ وہ زلف مشکبار رہی
