جما ہوا ہے فلک پہ کتنا غبار میرا

جو مجھ پہ ہوتا نہیں ہے راز آشکار میرا

تمام دنیا سمٹ نہ جائے مری حدوں میں

کہ حد سے بڑھنے لگا ہے اب انتشار میرا

دھواں سا اٹھتا ہے کس جگہ سے میں جانتا ہوں

جلاتا رہتا ہے مجھ کو ہر پل شرار میرا

بدل رہے ہیں سبھی ستارے مدار اپنا

مرے جنوں پہ ٹکا ہے دار و مدار میرا

کسی کے رستے پہ کیسے نظریں جمائے رکھوں

ابھی تو کرنا مجھے ہے خود انتظار میرا

تری اطاعت قبول کر لوں بھلا میں کیسے

کہ مجھ پہ چلتا نہیں ہے خود اختیار میرا

بس ایک پل میں کسی سمندر میں جا گروں گا

ابھی ستاروں میں ہو رہا ہے شمار میرا
