کم نگاہی کو بھی وہ دیدہ وری کہتے ہیں

فکر روشن کو وہ شوریدہ سری کہتے ہیں

یعنی سورج کو چراغ سحری کہتے ہیں

جو ترے در سے اٹھا پھر وہ کہیں کا نہ رہا

اس کی قسمت میں رہی در بدری کہتے ہیں

کتنی بے رحم ہے فطرت انہیں معلوم نہیں

جو اسے کارگہ شیشہ گری کہتے ہیں

حسن کے باب میں اکبرؔ کی سند کافی ہے

ہم بھی ہر اک بت کمسن کو پری کہتے ہیں

روح سید پہ خدا جانے گزر جائے گی کیا

عام علی گڑھ میں ہوئی کم نظری کہتے ہیں
