علیم اللہ
لا مکاں لگ عاشقاں کے عشق کا پرواز ہے
آسمان اور عرش و کرسی ان کا پا انداز ہے
اک تفکر ان کا افضل از طاعت ہفتہ و سال
سب خلائق پر انہوں کا اس سبب اعزاز ہے
عالماں اور عابداں کی بندگی سب قیل و قال
عاشقاں کے دل میں روشن جو کہ مخفی راز ہے
موتو قبل ان تموتوا حال ہے عشاق کا
عالماں کے گوش میں اس حرف کا آواز ہے
بو الہوس کو شمع سے دل باندھنا ممکن نہیں
عاشقاں کا اس سبب زاہد سدا اغماض ہے
خیر و شر سوں عاشقاں بے دل نہیں اور بوجھتے
رنج و راحت عشق میں معشوق کا سب ناز ہے
ٹل گئے اس معرکے سوں کئی ہزاراں اے علیمؔ
جو رہا سو نام اس کا عاشق جاں باز ہے
