الفت کے امتحاں میں اغیار فیل نکلے

تھے پاس ایک ہم ہی جو جاں پہ کھیل نکلے

تیغ و سناں کو رکھ دو آنکھیں لڑاؤ ہم سے

اچھی ہے وہ لڑائی جس میں کہ میل نکلے

دیکھا جو نور اس کا تو کھل گئی ہیں آنکھیں

دنیا و دیں کے جھگڑے بچوں کا کھیل نکلے

امید نیکیوں کی رکھو نہ تم بروں سے

ممکن نہیں کھلی سے ہرگز جو تیل نکلے

کب کوہ کن سے اٹھا کوہ گراں سے الفت

ان سختیوں کو کیفیؔ کچھ ہم ہی جھیل نکلے
