تیرے در سے اٹھے غم اٹھاتے رہے
بزم خواب محبت سجاتے رہے
چلتے چلتے ملے کتنے دشت جنوں
گیت الفت کے ہم تو سناتے رہے
خود تو جہد و عمل سے گریزاں رہے
نقش قسمت مگر وہ بتاتے رہے
یوں تو تاریک تھی اپنی راہ سفر
خون دل سے دیے ہم جلاتے رہے
ریگزاروں میں حسن وفا کا صلہ
یار یاروں سے نظریں چراتے رہے

yun to tarik thi apni rah-e-safar
KHun-e-dil se diye hum jalate rahe
regzaron mein husn-e-wafa ka sila
yar yaron se nazren churaate rahe
