خدا خاموش بندے بولتے ہیں

فرحت احساس

خدا خاموش بندے بولتے ہیں

بڑے چپ ہوں تو بچے بولتے ہیں

سنو سرگوشیاں کچھ کہہ رہی ہیں

زباں بندی میں ایسے بولتے ہیں

محبت کیسے چھت پر جائے چھپ کر

قدم رکھتے ہی زینے بولتے ہیں

نشے میں جھومنے لگتے ہیں معنی

تو لفظوں میں کرشمے بولتے ہیں

یہ ہم زندوں سے ممکن ہی نہیں ہے

جو کچھ مردوں سے مردے بولتے ہیں

ہم انسانوں کو آتا ہے بس اک شور

ترنم میں پرندے بولتے ہیں

خموشی سنتی ہے جب اپنی آواز

تو سینوں میں دفینے بولتے ہیں

میں پیغمبر نہیں ہوں پھر بھی مجھ میں

کئی گم صم صحیفے بولتے ہیں

یہی ہے وقت بولو فرحتؔ احساس

کہ ہر جانب کمینے بولتے ہیں
