فرحت احساس

ہم نہ پیاسے ہیں نہ پانی کے لیے آئے ہیں

تیرے ہم راہ روانی کے لیے آئے ہیں

عہدۂ عشق سے برخاست ہم اس دنیا میں

خاک کی خلد مکانی کے لیے آئے ہیں

محفل حال میں کل ماضی و مستقبل آئے

اور کہا مرثیہ خوانی کے لیے آئے ہیں

قصہ گو نیند نہیں آئی بہت دن سے ہمیں

ترے پاس ایک کہانی کے لیے آئے ہیں

زندگی چپ نہ کرا ان کو کہ بیچارے یہ جسم

چند دن چرب زبانی کے لیے آئے ہیں

فرحتؔ احساس کو خاموش نہ ہونے دینا

کہ میاں صدق بیانی کے لیے آئے ہیں
