پہلے جو میرا رنگ تھا اب وہ نہیں رہا

میلا کیا ہے جس نے وہی دھو نہیں رہا

جاگا ہوا ہے دل میں کوئی درد بے کراں

لوری سنا رہا ہوں مگر سو نہیں رہا

سوچو ذرا یہ کتنی اذیت کی بات ہے

ہم مر رہے ہیں اور کوئی رو نہیں رہا

یعنی چرا کے لے ہی گیا ہے مجھے وہ شخص

آئینہ کہہ رہا ہے کہ تو وہ نہیں رہا

نزدیک ہے کہ اب مجھے ڈس لے سیاہ رات

میرا وجود جلتا دیا جو نہیں رہا
