مرگ انبوہ دیکھ آتے ہیں
آنکھ پھر اشکبار ہو کہ نہ ہو
کرب پیہم سے ہو گیا پتھر
اب یہ سینہ فگار ہو کہ نہ ہو
پھر یہی رت ہو عین ممکن ہے
پر ترا انتظار ہو کہ نہ ہو
شاخ زیتون کے امیں ہیں ہم
شہر میں انتشار ہو کہ نہ ہو
