اٹھنے میں درد متصل ہوں میں

غلام مولیٰ قلق

اٹھنے میں درد متصل ہوں میں

گرد باد غبار دل ہوں میں

کعبے تک ساتھ آیا شوق صنم

ہائے بت خانہ کیا خجل ہوں میں

حیف کس مدعی کی جاں ہے تو

ہائے کس آشنا کا دل ہوں میں

تجھ کو دوں کیا جواب اے داور

اپنے ہی آپ منفعل ہوں میں

تیری نازک تنی پہ غور نہ کی

اپنی امید سے خجل ہوں میں

نہ ہلا اس کے در سے تا محشر

مرقد آرزو کی سل ہوں میں

خاک ہستی کی گرد باد ہے تو

آتش دل کی آب و گل ہوں میں

حد نہیں کوئی اپنی حالت کی

کہ نگاہوں میں منتقل ہوں میں

چھا گیا یہ تصور اس بت کا

نقش چیں اور بت چگل ہوں میں

ذرہ سی زندگی پہاڑ ہوئی

آنکھ کا اپنی آپ تل ہوں میں

اے قلقؔ کیوں کہ چھوڑ دوں وحشت

وضع میں اپنی مستقل ہوں میں
