اس نے تو دیکھے ان دیکھے خواب سبھی لوٹائے

اور تھے شاید ٹوٹی ہوئی تعبیر بنانے والے

سونے کی دیوار سے آگے میرے کام نہ آئے

سچے جذبے مٹی کو اکسیر بنانے والے

جزو شعر نہیں ہیں قاصرؔ جزو جاں کر ڈالے

ہم کو جتنے درد ملے تھے میرؔ بنانے والے
