اب مسافت میں تو آرام نہیں آ سکتا

یہ ستارہ بھی مرے کام نہیں آ سکتا

یہ مری سلطنت خواب ہے آباد رہو

اس کے اندر کوئی بہرام نہیں آ سکتا

جانے کھلتے ہوئے پھولوں کو خبر ہے کہ نہیں

باغ میں کوئی سیہ فام نہیں آ سکتا

ہر ہوا خواہ یہ کہتا تھا کہ محفوظ ہوں میں

بجھنے والوں میں مرا نام نہیں آ سکتا

میں جنہیں یاد ہوں اب تک یہی کہتے ہوں گے

شاہزادہ کبھی ناکام نہیں آ سکتا

ڈر ہی لگتا ہے کہ رستے میں نہ رہ جاؤں کہیں

کہلوا دیجئے میں شام نہیں آ سکتا
