روایتوں کے ابھی آفتاب باقی ہیں

شرافتوں کے ابھی ماہتاب باقی ہیں

یہ مانا ہم نے کہ آزاد ہو چکے لیکن

ابھی غلامی کے ہم پر عذاب باقی ہیں

انہی کے دم سے ہے رونق یہی ہیں سرمایہ

بکھیرتے ہوئے خوشبو گلاب باقی ہیں

یہ ترجمان حیات بشر ہیں دیکھو تو

ابھرتے پھوٹتے اب بھی حباب باقی ہیں

حقیقتوں سے جو پردہ اٹھا ہوا معلوم

بہ نام دوست ابھی تک سراب باقی ہیں

ye mana hum ne ki aazad ho chuke lekin
abhi ghulami ke hum par azab baqi hain

unhi ke dam se hai raunaq yahi hain sarmaya
bikherte hue KHushbu gulab baqi hain
