مجھے پانیوں پہ رقم کرو
کہ مری بساط غبار ہے
جو نشانیاں ہیں مری یہاں
انہیں بحر گرد میں ضم کرو
مرے آنسوؤں مرے قہقہوں
کو خیال و خواب کا نام دو
مری قربتوں کے گھنے شجر
کو خزاں کا کوئی پیام دو
کہ نہاں اسی میں فرار ہے
کہ مری بساط غبار ہے

ki meri bisat ghubar hai
jo nishaniyan hain meri yahan
unhen bahr-e-gard mein zam karo
mere aansuon mere qahqahon
ko KHayal-o-KHwab ka nam do
meri qurbaton ke ghane shajar
ko KHizan ka koi payam do
ki nihan isi mein farar hai
ki meri bisat ghubar hai
