کوئی تقریب ہو لاچاریاں ہیں
جلیل ساز
کوئی تقریب ہو لاچاریاں ہیں
بڑے لوگوں سے رشتے داریاں ہیں
ہماری کج کلاہی پر نہ جاؤ
ابھی ہم میں وہی خودداریاں ہیں
مروت آؤ بھگتی وضع داری
یہ پچھلے عہد کی بیماریاں ہیں
خوشا جن کو میسر آئیں نیندیں
یہاں تو عمر بھر بیداریاں ہیں
نہیں ہے آدمی کے بس میں کچھ بھی
تو پھر کاہے کی خود مختاریاں ہیں
وزیر و میر ہوں یا شیخ و واعظ
سبھی لوگوں میں ظاہر داریاں ہیں
نہیں ہے مونس جاں سازؔ کوئی
دکھاوے کی فقط دل داریاں ہیں

hamari kaj-kulahi par na jao
abhi hum mein wahi KHuddariyan hain
murawwat aao-bhagTi waza-dari
ye pichhle ahd ki bimariyan hain
KHusha jin ko mayassar aaen ninden
yahan to umr bhar bedariyan hain
nahin hai aadmi ke bas mein kuchh bhi
to phir kahe ki KHud-muKHtariyan hain
wazir-o-mir hon ya shaiKH-o-waiz
sabhi logon mein zahir-dariyan hain
nahin hai monis-e-jaan 'saz' koi
dikhawe ki faqat dil-dariyan hain
