ڈرا ڈرا کے وہ مجھ کو باغی بنا رہا ہے

حکومتوں کے لیے تباہی بنا رہا ہے

جواں دلوں پر غموں کے تالے لگے ہوئے ہیں

اور اک وہ بوڑھا خوشی کی چابی بنا رہا ہے

سبھی کے ہاتھوں میں فون ہے پر قلم نہیں ہے

امید لے کر کوئی سیاہی بنا رہا ہے

تری محبت سے پہلے ڈرپوک شہری تھا میں

ترا نشہ تو مجھے سپاہی بنا رہا ہے

میں اس کا راجا ہوں بچپنے سے پر اس کا ابا

اسے فقیروں کے گھر کی رانی بنا رہا ہے

خبر ہے پھیلی کہ تجھ کو ماڈل ہے بھاتے تب سے

ہر ایک بچہ نگر میں باڈی بنا رہا ہے

تو اس کی آنکھوں کو دیکھ کر ہی سمجھ لے جوادؔ

وہ سچ چھپا کر فقط کہانی بنا رہا ہے

Dara Dara ke wo mujh ko baghi bana raha hai
hukumaton ke liye tabahi bana raha hai

jawan dilon par ghamon ke tale lage hue hain
aur ek wo buDha KHushi ki chabi bana raha hai

sabhi ke hathon mein phone hai par qalam nahin hai
umid le kar koi siyahi bana raha hai

teri mohabbat se pahle Darpok shahri tha main
tera nasha to mujhe sipahi bana raha hai

main us ka raja hun bachpane se par us ka abba
use faqiron ke ghar ki rani bana raha hai

KHabar hai phaili ki tujh ko model hai bhate tab se
har ek bachcha nagar mein body bana raha hai

tu us ki aankhon ko dekh kar hi samajh le 'jawwad'
wo sach chhupa kar faqat kahani bana raha hai
