وہ آج لوٹ بھی آئے تو اس سے کیا ہوگا

کیفی وجدانی

وہ آج لوٹ بھی آئے تو اس سے کیا ہوگا

اب اس نگاہ کا پتھر سے سامنا ہوگا

زمیں کے زخم سمندر تو بھر نہ پائے گا

یہ کام دیدۂ تر تجھ کو سونپنا ہوگا

ہزار نیزے ادھر اور میں ادھر تنہا

مری شکست کا عنواں ہی دوسرا ہوگا

جو تیز دھوپ میں سایوں کی فصل بوتے ہیں

یہاں کی آب و ہوا کا انہیں پتہ ہوگا

میں اور ایک قدم اس کی سمت بڑھ جاتا

پتہ نہ تھا کہ وہ اتنا گریز پا ہوگا

مرا یقیں ہے کہ راہ وفا میں میرے بعد

مرا سفر ترے قدموں نے طے کیا ہوگا

wo aaj lauT bhi aae to is se kya hoga
ab us nigah ka patthar se samna hoga

zamin ke zaKHm samundar to bhar na paega
ye kaam dida-e-tar tujh ko saunpna hoga

hazar neze udhar aur main idhar tanha
meri shikast ka unwan hi dusra hoga

jo tez dhup mein sayon ki fasl bote hain
yahan ki aab o hawa ka unhen pata hoga

main aur ek qadam us ki samt baDh jata
pata na tha ki wo itna gurez-pa hoga

mera yaqin hai ki rah-e-wafa mein mere baad
mera safar tere qadmon ne tai kiya hoga
