یہ کرب کا احساس مسلسل مرے اللہ
کر دے گا کسی دن مجھے پاگل مرے اللہ
بکھرے ہوئے ٹکڑوں کو سمیٹوں بھی کہاں تک
کس طرح کروں خود کو مکمل مرے اللہ
ہر ذہن جہالت کے اندھیروں کا ہے مسکن
ہر ہاتھ میں ہے علم کی مشعل مرے اللہ
لاشوں کے ہر ایک شہر میں بازار سجے ہیں
ہر موڑ پہ ہے اک نیا مقتل مرے اللہ
حالات سے ہوں برسر پیکار ابھی تک
گو جسم میں باقی نہیں کس بل مرے اللہ
میلوں نہیں آثار کوئی دشت یقیں کے
ہر سمت ہے تشکیک کی دلدل مرے اللہ
سرمایہ و اسباب جسے چاہے اسے دے
راہیؔ کو بس اک صبر و توکل مرے اللہ

bikhre hue TukDon ko sameTun bhi kahan tak
kis tarah karun KHud ko mukammal mere allah
har zehn jihaalat ke andheron ka hai maskan
har hath mein hai ilm ki mashal mere allah
lashon ke har ek shahr mein bazar saje hain
har moD pe hai ek naya maqtal mere allah
haalat se hun barsar-e-paikar abhi tak
go jism mein baqi nahin kas-bal mere allah
milon nahin aasar koi dasht-e-yaqin ke
har samt hai tashkik ki daldal mere allah
sarmaya-o-asbab jise chahe use de
'rahi' ko bas ek sabr-o-tawakkul mere allah
