حساب بیش و کم سیدھا بہت ہے

یہاں ہنسنا ہے کم رونا بہت ہے

جھلکتا ہے تری ہر بات سے سچ

ترا لہجہ ابھی کچا بہت ہے

درختوں کی طرف مڑ کر نہ دیکھو

ابھی تو دھوپ میں چلنا بہت ہے

کسی کو دشت میں شہرت ملی تھی

ہمارا شہر میں چرچا بہت ہے

کوئی ہنس کر ملے دو بات کر لے

ہمارے دور میں اتنا بہت ہے

jhalakta hai teri har baat se sach

kisi ko dasht mein shohrat mili thi
hamara shahar mein charcha bahut hai

koi hans kar mile do baat kar le
