صاف ہم تم سے آج کتنے ہیں

مرزا آسمان جاہ انجم

صاف ہم تم سے آج کتنے ہیں

سب تمہیں بد مزاج کہتے ہیں

تیرے بیمار غم کو ہے وہ مرض

حکما لا علاج کہتے ہیں

میری دھڑکن سے وہ بھی نہ بے چین

ہاں اسے اختلاج کہتے ہیں

کیا عناصر میں ہے تری قدرت

بس اسے امتزاج کہتے ہیں

ہے شہادت کی آرزو قاتل

دل کی ہم احتیاج کہتے ہیں

داغ سودا نے سرفراز کیا

ہم اسے اپنا تاج کہتے ہیں

خوب پیدا کیا ہے نام انجمؔ

لوگ عاشق مزاج کہتے ہیں

saf hum tum se aaj kitne hain
sab tumhein bad-mizaj kahte hain

tere bimar-e-gham ko hai wo maraz
hukama la-ilaj kahte hain

meri dhaDkan se wo bhi na bechain
han ise iKHtilaj kahte hain

kya anasir mein hai tari qudrat
bas ise imtizaj kahte hain

hai shahadat ki aarzu qatil
dil ki hum ehtiyaj kahte hain

dagh-e-sauda ne sarfaraaz kiya
hum ise apna taj kahte hain

KHub paida kiya hai nam 'anjum'
log aashiq-mizaj kahte hain
