نہ جانے کب سے ہم دونوں ساتھ ہیں

ریل کی دو پٹریوں کی طرح

ہم سدا ساتھ چلے

ساتھ پہاڑ چڑھے اترے

ساتھ دریا پار کئے

بستی اسٹیشن جنگل صحرا سب ساتھ دیکھے

تیرے ساتھ بہتوں نے دن گزارے

میں بھی کسی کی زیست کا امیں رہا

سب ساتھ چھوڑ گئے

تیرا بھی اور میرا بھی

ساتھ رہے تو بس ہم دونوں

ریل کی دو پٹریوں کی طرح

اور سدا

ایک دوسرے سے دور رہے

rail ki do paTriyon ki tarah

rail ki do paTriyon ki tarah
hum sada sath chale
sath pahaD chaDhe utre
sath dariya par kiye
basti station jangal sahra sab sath dekhe

tere sath bahuton ne din guzare
main bhi kisi ki zist ka amin raha
sab sath chhoD gae
tera bhi aur mera bhi
sath rahe to bas hum donon
rail ki do paTriyon ki tarah

aur sada
ek dusre se dur rahe
rail ki do paTriyon ki tarah
