منیب الرحمن
کوئی دیوانہ اگر رات گئے روتا ہے
اس کی آواز بہت دور سنائی دے گی
چاہے لوگوں کو سروکار نہ ہو
بے بسی چھائی ہو خاموشی ہو
ہر طرف ایک فراموشی ہو
پھر بھی بے زار نہ ہو
کوئی دیوانہ اگر رات گئے روتا ہے
اس کی آواز بہت دور سنائی دے گی
کوئی سمجھائے وہ کیوں روتا ہے
شاید ان خوابوں کی خاطر جو نہ پورے ہوں گے
یا بدستور ادھورے ہوں گے
کھولتا ہے کبھی تنہائی کے بھاری پردے
روزن در سے ستاروں کو چمکتا دیکھے
باغ نوخاستہ ہر سمت مہکتا دیکھے
اور بنجر پڑے ارمانوں کو سیراب کرے
دیکھو اک بوند گری ٹھہرے ہوئے پانی میں
دائرہ بن گئی بڑھتی ہی گئی
کرب طوفان نہاں موج کے دل سے پوچھو
پھیلتے پھیلتے ساحل سے جو مل جائے گی
کوئی دیوانہ اگر رات گئے روتا ہے
اس کی آواز بہت دور سنائی دے گی

bebasi chhai ho KHamoshi ho
har taraf ek faramoshi ho
phir bhi be-zar na ho
koi diwana agar raat gae rota hai
us ki aawaz bahut dur sunai degi
koi samjhae wo kyun rota hai
shayad un KHwabon ki KHatir jo na pure honge
ya ba-dastur adhure honge
kholta hai kabhi tanhai ke bhaari parde
rauzan-e-dar se sitaron ko chamakta dekhe
bagh-e-nau-KHasta har samt mahakta dekhe
aur banjar paDe armanon ko sairab kare
dekho ek bund giri Thahre hue pani mein
daera ban gai baDhti hi gai
karb-e-tufan-e-nihan mauj ke dil se puchho
phailte phailte sahil se jo mil jaegi
koi diwana agar raat gae rota hai
us ki aawaz bahut dur sunai degi
