منیب الرحمن

دیار غیر میں صبح وطن کی یاد آئی

نسیم آبلہ پا کو چمن کی یاد آئی

جراحتوں نے کیا اہتمام لالہ و گل

بہار رفتہ کو سرو و سمن کی یاد آئی

گزر رہے تھے شب و روز کنج عزلت میں

کہ شمع بن کے تری انجمن کی یاد آئی

بجھی ہوئی تھی بہت دن سے آرزوئے سخن

یہ آج کس بت شیریں دہن کی یاد آئی

dayar-e-ghair mein subh-e-watan ki yaad aai
nasim-e-abla-pa ko chaman ki yaad aai
jarahaton ne kiya ehtimam-e-lala-o-gul
bahaar-e-rafta ko sarw-o-saman ki yaad aai
guzar rahe the shab-o-roz kunj-e-uzlat mein
ki shama ban ke teri anjuman ki yaad aai
bujhi hui thi bahut din se aarzu-e-suKHan
