برستا ہے پانی ہوا بند ہے

نہیں مرغ جان جسم صد چاک میں

ہمارے قفس میں ہما بند ہے

کہاں قافلہ تک رسائی مجھے

میں ہوں لنگ شور درا بند ہے

دل وحشی اپنا چھٹے کس طرح

کہ زنجیر گیسو کا پابند ہے
