جس نے خوشبو کی طرح میری پذیرائی کی

یاد جب اس کی چلی آئی مری راہوں میں

لاج رکھ لی ہے اسی نے میری تنہائی کی

ایسے اجڑا ہے ترے بعد مرے دل کا جہاں

اچھی لگتی نہیں آواز بھی شہنائی کی

دوڑ جاتی ہے لہر سی میرے دل کے اندر

یاد جب آتی ہے اس شوخ کی انگڑائی کی

خون دل اپنا پلایا جو غزل کو میں نے

تب کہیں جا کے زمانے نے پذیرائی کی
