ہم ڈھونڈتے ہیں باغ میں اس گلعذار کو
منشی بہاری لال مشتاق دہلوی
ہم ڈھونڈتے ہیں باغ میں اس گلعذار کو
جلوہ نے جس کے رنگ دیا ہے بہار کو
تم جاتے ہو تو جاؤ خدا کے لئے مگر
لے جاؤ اپنے ساتھ نہ صبر و قرار کو
ہم حسن اعتقاد سے سمجھے چڑھائے پھول
گل کر دیا جو اس نے چراغ مزار کو
دی کس نے اس کو جا کے نوید قدوم یار
ہے ناگوار باغ سے جانا بہار کو
اس بت میں نور قدرت خالق ہے مستتر
پتھر نے کیا چھپایا ہے دل میں شرار کو
مشتاقؔ غم کو پاس نہ آنے دے زینہار
خوش خوش گزار زندگئ مستعار کو

di kis ne is ko ja ke nawed-e-qudum-e-yar
hai nagawar bagh se jaana bahaar ko
us but mein nur-e-qudrat-e-KHaliq hai mustatar
patthar ne kya chhupaya hai dil mein sharar ko
'mushtaq' gham ko pas na aane de zinhaar
KHush KHush guzar zindagi-e-mustaar ko
