قطرہ قطرہ مٹاتا ہوں

تب اک قطرہ لکھتا ہوں

مجھ جیسا کیوں دیکھوں میں

جب خود جیسا دکھتا ہوں

میٹھے بول سنا لے جا

مول نہیں میں بکتا ہوں

تن تو میرا بھی ہے پر

میں اس میں کب ٹکتا ہوں

میں فاقوں کے چولھے میں

اک روٹی سا سکتا ہوں
