نوشابہ خاتون
حال کیا پوچھتے ہو سوختہ سامانی کا
داغ سرمایہ ہوا زندگیٔ فانی کا
غرق دریائے ندامت ہوا طومار جرم
یہ تو ادنیٰ سا کرشمہ ہے پشیمانی کا
بعد مردن جو عناصر مرے بکھرے یا رب
عقدہ حل ہو گیا ہستی کی پریشانی کا
سنگ در بعض نے سنگ در مقصد سمجھا
یہ صلہ ہم کو ملا آپ کی دربانی کا
دیکھ کر میری پریشانیٔ تحریر کہا
یہ مرقع ہے یقیناً کسی دیوانی کا

dagh sarmaya hua zindagi-e-fani ka
gharq-e-dariya-e-nidamat hua tumar-e-jurm
ye to adna sa karishma hai pashemani ka
baad-e-murdan jo anasir mere bikhre ya-rab
uqda hal ho gaya hasti ki pareshani ka
sang-e-dar baz ne sang-e-dar-e-maqsad samjha
ye sila hum ko mila aap ki darbani ka
dekh kar meri pareshani-e-tahrir kaha
ye muraqqa hai yaqinan kisi diwani ka
