اک عجب بات تھی گزر ہی گئی
جو مسافت تھی سب تمام ہوئی
کیسی برسات تھی گزر ہی گئی
لوگ جتنے ملے بچھڑ ہی گئے
کیا ملاقات تھی گزر ہی گئی
سانپ ہی سانپ تھے کہانی میں
اک خرافات تھی گزر ہی گئی
دن تھے آسیب رات ڈائن تھی
کیسی آفات تھی گزر ہی گئی
جان نعمت تھی یا عقوبت تھی
جو بھی سوغات تھی گزر ہی گئی
