تنہا ہوئے خراب ہوئے آئنہ ہوئے

چاہا تھا آدمی بنیں لیکن خدا ہوئے

جب تک جیے بکھرتے رہے ٹوٹتے رہے

ہم سانس سانس قرض کی صورت ادا ہوئے

ہم بھی کسی کمان سے نکلے تھے تیر سے

یہ اور بتا ہے کہ نشانے خطا ہوئے

پر شور راستوں سے گزرنا محال تھا

ہٹ کر چلے تو آپ ہی اپنے سزا ہوئے
