گر مجھے سادہ دل بنایا تھا
اوم بھتکر مغلوب
گر مجھے سادہ دل بنایا تھا
تو بھلا کیوں جہاں میں لایا تھا
واجب القتل مانیے اس کو
جس نے لفظ وفا بنایا تھا
ساتھ غم بھی تو چھوڑ دیتا ہے
بے سبب دل جگر جلایا تھا
شعر یہ بھوپ میں کیوں گانے لگے
میں نے تو بھیروی بتایا تھا
کل مرے گھر میں میرا قتل ہوا
خوش بہت ہوں کوئی تو آیا تھا
آخری دن خدا یہ کہنے لگے
کس نے تم کو یہاں بلایا تھا
اب مری ماں ہے بس جو پوچھتی ہے
کس نے مغلوبؔ کو ستایا تھا

sath gham bhi to chhoD deta hai
be-sabab dil jigar jalaya tha
sher ye bhup mein kyon gane lage
main ne to bhairawi bataya tha
kal mere ghar mein mera qatl hua
KHush bahut hun koi to aaya tha
aaKHiri din KHuda ye kahne lage
kis ne tum ko yahan bulaya tha
ab meri man hai bas jo puchhti hai
kis ne 'maghlub' ko sataya tha
