پنڈت جواہر ناتھ ساقی

جو بشر ہر وقت محو ذات ہے

قلب اس کا لم یزل مرآت ہے

جس کو شغل نفی و اثبات ہے

وہ ہی صاحب دل ہے خوش اوقات ہے

سہو ہوتا ہے کبھی ہوتا ہے محو

کیا مزے کا اپنا یہ دن رات ہے

نامراد دہر فرد دہر ہے

وہ جہاں میں قاضی الحاجات ہے

ہوں صفات نفس جس کے قلب روح

وہ بشر کب ہے وہ حسن ذات ہے

صاحب نسبت کا رتبہ ہے بلند

گرچہ زاہد صاحب‌ الدعوات ہے

بست میں جب قبض کا دورہ ہوا

ہے قیامت نزع کی سکرات ہے

وہ تعین ہی کے پھندے میں رہا

جو یہاں پابند محسوسات ہے

مغبچو ہو جاؤ تم بھی بے نیاز

پیر مغ تو قبلۂ حاجات ہے

ہم بھی ہیں ساقیؔ تلاش یار میں

وہ جو مل جائے تو پھر کیا بات ہے

پنڈت جواہر ناتھ ساقی
