جب ذکر وفا آئے

دل کیوں مرا گھبرائے

یہ رات کی خاموشی

باتیں تری دہرائے

پھر خود کو میں بھولا ہوں

پھر یاد کوئی آئے

جو تجھ کو گنوا بیٹھا

اپنے کو وہ کیا پائے

کچھ اور بڑھی دوری

جب جب وہ قریب آئے

ہے کون سوا تیرے

اس دل میں جو بس جائے

قسمت یہ کہاں دانشؔ

کوئی مرا ہو جائے
