آخری بس

تیرتی سی جا رہی ہے

شب کی فرش مرمریں پر

شبنم آگیں دھند کی نیلی گپھا میں

بس کے اندر ہر کوئی بیٹھا ہے

اپنا سر جھکائے

خستگی دن کی چبائے

کیا ہوئی اک دوسرے سے بات کرنے کی

وہ راحت وہ مسرت

آج دنیا آخری بس کی طرح محو سفر ہے

سب مسافر

قرب کے احساس سے نا آشنا بیٹھے ہوئے ہیں

اب کسی کو اجنبی ہونا برا لگتا نہیں ہے

tairti si ja rahi hai
shab ki farsh-e-marmarin par
shabnam-agin dhund ki nili gupha mein
bas ke andar har koi baiTha hai

apna sar jhukae
KHastagi din ki chabae
kya hui ek dusre se baat karne ki
wo rahat wo masarrat
aaj duniya aaKHiri bas ki tarah mahw-e-safar hai
sab musafir
qurb ke ehsas se na-ashna baiThe hue hain
ab kisi ko ajnabi hona bura lagta nahin hai
