چاندنی دھوپ بادل برستی گھٹا

ہر نظارہ حسیں ہر ادا دل ربا

گل بداماں تری دل نشیں داریاں

تیری تہذیب گلدستۂ زندگی

تیری تاریخ آئینۂ‌ زندگی

ہر ورق آدمیت کی ہے داستاں

اے وطن اے وطن ہم ترے پاسباں

خون دل سے سجاتے رہے ہم تجھے

رشک جنت بناتے رہے ہم تجھے

تجھ کو حسرت سے دیکھا کیا آسماں
