یوں پریشاں کبھی ہم بھی تو نہ تھے

ایسے اس زلف میں خم بھی تو نہ تھے

سیر گلشن کو گئے تھے جب آپ

یاد تو کیجئے ہم بھی تو نہ تھے

ہم سے بے جرم وہ کوچہ چھوٹا

شائق باغ ارم بھی تو نہ تھے

رحم کرتا نہ فلک کیا کرتا

ہم سزا وار ستم بھی تو نہ تھے

رہتے کعبہ میں اکیلے کیا ہم

دل لگانے کو صنم بھی تو نہ تھے

ہاتھ کیوں سر پہ ہمارے رکھا

تم سے خواہان قسم بھی تو نہ تھے
