وحشت نگار لمحے آہو قطار لمحے
میں ہوں شکار ان کا میرا شکار لمحے
آنکھیں ترس رہی ہیں آنکھیں برس رہی ہیں
تصویر ہو گئے ہیں پلکوں پہ چار لمحے
بھاری اگرچہ ہے من ہر سانس جیسے الجھن
کٹ جائیں گے یقیناً یہ انتظار لمحے
کیا بیر ہے کسی سے ملیے گلے سبھی سے
بہتر ہیں ہر خوشی سے یہ اشک بار لمحے
اپنی تو ایک ہٹ ہے بے لاگ بے لپٹ ہے
صدیوں کی ایک رٹ ہے دے دے ادھار لمحے

taswir ho gae hain palkon pe chaar lamhe
bhaari agarche hai man har sans jaise uljhan
kaT jaenge yaqinan ye intizar lamhe
kya bair hai kisi se miliye gale sabhi se
behtar hain har KHushi se ye ashk-bar lamhe
apni to ek haT hai be-lag be-lipaT hai
sadiyon ki ek raT hai de de udhaar lamhe
