آپ کی یاد آتی رہی رات بھر
چشم تر جگمگاتی رہی رات بھر
نیند آنے کو آتی یقیناً مگر
ایک حسرت جگاتی رہی رات بھر
مثل ناگن تری یاد ڈستی رہی
ظلم تنہائی ڈھاتی رہی رات بھر
مضطرب جیسے ماہی ہو بن آب کے
زندگی تلملاتی رہی رات بھر
بے بسی دیکھ کر بے کلی دیکھ کر
چاندنی منہ چڑھاتی رہی رات بھر
