شاہ دین ہمایوں

سندھ کی وادی پہ ہے کالی گھٹا چھائی ہوئی

برقعہ اوڑھے اک دلہن بیٹھی ہے شرمائی ہوئی

منتظر بارش کے ہیں مکی کے اور شالی کے کھیت

تشنگی سے خوشہ کی صورت ہے مرجھائی ہوئی

آج گاندر بل ہوا ہے اس کا منظور نظر

اس کے سر پر کیا گھٹا پھرتی ہے منڈلائی ہوئی

سندھ کے نالے کی آہوں کا دھواں شاید اٹھا

کیسی تاریکی ہے سطح آب پر چھائی ہوئی

قاصد‌ ابر آ رہا ہے لے کے ہاں پیغام فیض

بارگاہ‌ ایزدی میں کس کی شنوائی ہوئی

سوئے‌ مشرق ہے سر کہسار پر بارش کا زور

رحمت باری ہے گویا جوش پر آئی ہوئی

اے ہمایوںؔ فیض بارش سے کھلے ڈل کے کنول

کیوں ترے دل کی کلی ہے آج مرجھائی ہوئی

sindh ki wadi pe hai kali ghaTa chhai hui
burqa oDhe ek dulhan baiThi hai sharmai hui
muntazir barish ke hain makki ke aur shaali ke khet
tishnagi se KHosha ki surat hai murjhai hui
aaj ganderbal hua hai us ka manzur-e-nazar
us ke sar par kya ghaTa phirti hai manDlai hui
sindh ke nale ki aahon ka dhuan shayad uTha
kaisi tariki hai sath-e-ab par chhai hui
qasid-e-abr aa raha hai le ke han paigham-e-faiz
bargah-e-ezdi mein kis ki shunawai hui
su-e-mashriq hai sar-e-kohsar par barish ka zor
rahmat-e-bari hai goya josh par aai hui
ai 'humayun' faiz-e-barish se khule Dal ke kanwal
kyun tere dil ki kali hai aaj murjhai hui
