سواد شب میں ستارے مجھے قبول نہیں

یہ کوہ و دشت بھی آئینۂ بہار بنے

فقط چمن کے نظارے مجھے قبول نہیں

تمہارے ذوق کرم پر بہت ہوں شرمندہ

مراد یہ ہے سہارے مجھے قبول نہیں

مثال موج سمندر کی سمت لوٹ چلو

سکوں بہ دوش کنارے مجھے قبول نہیں

میں اپنے خوں سے جلاؤں گا رہ گزر کے چراغ

یہ کہکشاں یہ ستارے مجھے قبول نہیں

شکیبؔ جس کو شکایت ہے کھل کے بات کرے

ڈھکے چھپے سے اشارے مجھے قبول نہیں
