بے جا نوازشات کا بار گراں نہیں

بے جا نوازشات کا بار گراں نہیں

میں خوش ہوں اس لیے کہ کوئی مہرباں نہیں

آغوش حادثات میں پائی ہے پرورش

جو برق پھونک دے وہ مرا آشیاں نہیں

کیوں ہنس رہے ہیں راہ کی دشواریوں پہ لوگ

ہوں بے وطن ضرور مگر بے نشاں نہیں

گھبرائیے نہ گردش ایام سے ہنوز

ترتیب فصل‌ گل ہے یہ دور خزاں نہیں

کچھ برق سوز تنکے مجھے چاہئیں شکیبؔ

جھک جائیں گل کے بار سے وہ ڈالیاں نہیں
