دکھانا مرے دل کا اچھا نہ تھا
تمہیں یہ کسی طرح زیبا نہ تھا
قیامت تھی میرے لئے زندگی
ترے غم کا جب تک سہارا نہ تھا
غم زندگی سامنے آ گیا
ابھی ہم نے دنیا کو دیکھا نہ تھا
سناتے کسے آہ روداد دل
تری بزم میں کوئی اپنا نہ تھا
نا آیا ترے آبلہ پا کو راس
وہ جادہ جہاں کوئی کانٹا نہ تھا
وہ نظریں بھی شارق بدل جائیں گی
یہ ہم نے کبھی آہ سوچا نہ تھا

na aaya tere aabla-pa ko ras
wo jada jahan koi kanTa na tha
wo nazren bhi shaariq badal jaengi
ye hum ne kabhi aah socha na tha
