رہا جو نادم خطا پہ اپنی قریب رحمت کو پا لیا

جو ہو بھی کتنا بڑا ہی پاپی غضب سے دامن چھڑا لیا

وہ ہی جہاں میں ہے اصل دانا کہ خوف سے جو لرزتا ہے

خطا اسی سے جو ہو گئی بھی تو آنسو اس نے بہا لیا

کبھی بڑائی نہ دل میں آئے تو خود کو عاجز بنا لیا

کبھی تو شیطان سے بچاؤ کبھی تو اپنے ہی نفس سے

اِنہیں سے تو کشمکش ہے اپنی اِنہیں کو دشمن بنا لیا

رہے نہ مایوسی زندگی میں اُسی سے بچنا ضروری ہے

جری تو وہ ہے کہ خود کو احساسِ کمتری سے بچا لیا

جو اپنے اسلاف کو نہ بھولیں جہاں میں وہ سرخرو رہیں

چلا جو اُن کے نمونے پر تو قدم ہی اپنا جمالیا

چمن کی زینت بڑھے گی اٌس سے کہ کوئی نہ امتیاز ہو
