یہ نہیں تھا کہ اب کوئی سہارا نہیں تھا

آصف سراجؔ

یہ نہیں تھا کہ اب کوئی سہارا نہیں تھا

تیرے شہر میں رہنا مجھے گوارا نہیں تھا

اور گٹھڑی رکھ دی سر پہ وقت نے

ابھی تو پچھلا بوجھ بھی اتارا نہیں تھا

تیرے وہم سے کھیلتا رہا شب بھر

مڑ کے دیکھا تھا کوئی ستارا نہیں تھا

زندگی گزار کے یہی ہُوا ہے حاصل

کہ اُس کے بن اپنا گزارا نہیں تھا

کتنے دکھ کی خبر ملی ہے دمِ آ خر

مرے جسکے لئے وہ ہمارا نہیں تھا

اُس کا لہجہ بتا رہا ہے مجھے سراجؔ

میں جیت گیا تھا ، میں ہارا نہیں تھا
