خوابِ سحر کا دیکھنے والا تو میں بھی ہوں

سورج نہیں ہوں شام کا تارہ تو میں بھی ہوں

دریا کے ساتھ چلنا گوارا نہیں مجھے

بہتا ہوں اپنی رو میں کہ دھارا تو میں بھی ہوں

دیکھا نہیں کسی نے بھی میری طرف مگر

آنکھوں کی رہ گزار سے گزرا تو میں بھی ہوں

دریا کو میں بھی دریا سمجھتا ہوں دوستو

ڈوبا اگر نہیں ہوں سفینہ تو میں بھی ہوں

یوسف کو دیکھتا ہوں میں چشمِ زلیخا سے

گوہر نہیں گہر کا شناسا تو میں بھی ہوں

وحشت مرے سپرد بھی کر مجھ سے بھی تو مل

صحرا نہیں ہوں ریت کا ذرہ تو میں بھی ہوں
